Sabayon Linux 4-Lite MCE


Facts:
  • Sabayon Linux is based on Gentoo
  • Sabayon has a very short cycle, so one does not have to update each package continuously
  • Sabayon borrows aspects from several distros

What I liked:
  • Very pretty, like wow pretty.
  • Portato is a really nice GUI for Portage
  • KDE was really stable, no crashes

What I didn't like:
  • A little slow to load
  • Nothing aside from appearance really wow-ed me

Summary:
The best thing about Sabayon Linux is the "wow, it's pretty" factor. This distro is just beautiful. Overall, it seems a very easy to use distro and while nothing really stood out for me aside from its appearance, I still think it's a very nice and respectable distro. I give it an A+ for appearance and a B+/A- for use.
